HVAC Service Technician
Greens Energy Services is looking to add an HVAC Service Technician to our award-winning team based in Orlando. You will install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Diagnose cooling, heating, zoning problems on Residential systems
- Change out extreme burn out compressors and evaporator coils
- Understand sub cool and superheat
- Change out condensers and air handlers
- Braze using a nitrogen shield
- Understand duct work, diagnose air flow problems, and repair ductwork
- Perform maintenances and write up maintenance contracts
- Communicate warranty issues to the customer
- Collect money and process checks and credit cards utilizing our online services on tablet
- Electronically dispatched on iPad
Job Requirements:
- High school education required
- 2-5 years in field
- NATE Certification or HVAC trade school
- Clean driving record
- Expected to be on a rotating emergency call schedule
- Must have your own tools – Including hand tools, meters, torches, gauges, pumps
- Detail oriented and understand the importance of documentation
- Must understand the IAQ equipment and make recommendations to customer
- Must understand OSHA safety programs
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
