About Greens Fuel Services

Answers to Common Questions

Florida’s above and below-ground fuel storage tank regulations are some of the strictest in the country. There are different regulations for different types of tanks and fuels. At Greens Energy, we’ll help you navigate the applicable rules to ensure your tanks comply with all state and federal regulatory standards.

No. It should be installed at least 25 feet away from any structure. This spacing helps minimize fire risks and allows the installation of the appropriate leak containment systems.

We work closely with recyclers to ensure your old tanks are properly disposed of and recycled to keep them out of landfills and our landscape green and beautiful.

Fuel should be regularly tested to ensure that it won’t damage vehicles and machinery. Our fuel sampling services confirm that your fuel is in good condition and can provide the power and performance you need for your operations.

We strongly recommend cleaning your fuel storage tank before any internal inspections, when you decide to change fuels stored in the tank, or if you’re having problems with your fuel tank due to a lack of maintenance.

We strongly advise against cleaning your fuel storage tanks yourself. There’s a real risk of fire and toxic inhalation, so it’s best to leave the task to a qualified professional who can do it quickly, safely, and without risk to life or property.

We stock diesel and gasoline, and we take all the steps necessary to maintain fuel quality and ensure proper performance in your generator or other equipment.

At Greens Energy, we have our own fuel reserves, delivery trucks, and backup power infrastructure to ensure we can keep our customers supplied with fuel during an outage, whether it lasts hours, days, or weeks.

If you’re considering a generator for your business, the type of fuel it uses is critical. Natural gas is one of the cleanest-burning fuels, minimizing maintenance. Its direct supply eliminates fuel storage and refueling. However, natural gas is not available in all locations. For large businesses, diesel generators are the most practical, as they offer reliable output with fuel that’s relatively safe and easy to store. For smaller businesses, a gasoline or propane generator may suffice, but fuel storage and refueling will be more difficult, and the engines of gasoline generators tend to have a shorter service life than their diesel equivalents.

Our generator fueling services are available 24/7 to keep your fuel tanks full and your business running. We can deliver fuel during the day, at night, or over the weekend, and we offer cost-effective emergency fuel supply agreements that ensure the best service possible.

I have been with Greens “forever”. They are a great company. Highly professional and personable.
During a maintenance check, it was found there was a leak. Parts were ordered.
Aaron K. brought the parts to provide the fix.
He was so awesome. Professional. And easy to work with. And he had a great sense of humor. He knew the technical side … inside and out. He was so polite. He even provided me further, more in-depth info on the unit’s operation.
I am so glad he was my tech and I use Greens services.

Greens has always been an excellent company to work with.
Chad serviced our two units today, and I could not be more pleased. Chad took his time, was careful and diligent, and I really appreciate his work. Chad should be recognized by Green’s as an excellent employee !!!

Alberto from Green’s Energy did a fantastic job fixing my air conditioning unit! He was prompt, professional, and immediately put me at ease with his friendly attitude. Alberto quickly identified the issue and had my A/C working perfectly in no time. He was super tidy, respectful of my home, and even shared helpful tips to keep my system running efficiently. Not if but when my A/C goes down again, Green’s Energy is the only HVAC company that I will call. Alberto truly exceeded my expectations – great job!

Joe Parris
