No. It should be installed at least 25 feet away from any structure. This spacing helps minimize fire risks and allows the installation of the appropriate leak containment systems.

We strongly recommend cleaning your fuel storage tank before any internal inspections, when you decide to change fuels stored in the tank, or if you’re having problems with your fuel tank due to a lack of maintenance.

We strongly advise against cleaning your fuel storage tanks yourself. There’s a real risk of fire and toxic inhalation, so it’s best to leave the task to a qualified professional who can do it quickly, safely, and without risk to life or property.
