Hurricane Season Begins June 1!
We know that hurricanes are unwelcome guests, so now is the time to plan ahead for this type of weather that can uproot your day-to-day lives.
Because hurricane season lasts until late November, that leaves plenty of opportunities for storms to come our way. Make sure your home and family is prepared. We recommend:
- Stocking your home and car with emergency food, water, and medicine
- Creating a family disaster plan
- Printing important documents and phone numbers
- Taking an inventory of your personal property
- Reviewing your insurance policies
- Considering a backup generator
We wish you a safe hurricane season this year. As always, we are here for all of your heating, cooling, and indoor air quality needs.
Is a Repair in Your Future?
While we are loving this warmer weather, one thing we don’t love is an old or broken AC unit. If you’re unsure if you need a comfort system repair, look for the signs below:
- Unusual noises
- Odors
- Warm air when your cooling system is on
- Ice accumulation
- Short-cycling
- Not reaching your desired temperature
- Uneven temperatures in the home
If your system is in need of service, not to worry! At Greens Energy, our expert technicians are here to examine your unit, identify any issues, and provide quick and reliable solutions.
Give us a call or schedule your appointment and stay cool all spring and summer!
